MY APPROACH

Coaching enables me to work with individuals looking to transform their lives by forging their own path toward holistic wellness.  Most of my coaching begins with helping individuals articulate and connect with their personal Core Values and then we discuss how those values can help them achieve their vision of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and occupational wellness.  My clients consider areas where they feel “stuck” and set their own agenda for each session. Through purposeful conversation that involves specific questioning, encouragement, and accountability we develop a plan and work together to accomplish the goals and bring about the change that each client desires. Some of the areas my clients and I work on are cultivating healthy habits, goal setting, self-care, establishing/enforcing boundaries, work/life balance, navigating transitions, diet & exercise, implementing schedules & routines, personal organization, planning and preparing healthy meals

MY STORY

I graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, OH with a Bachelor’s degree and am a certified teacher with over 20 years of experience in education including 10+ years homeschooling my 4 children.  I have always been passionate about health and wellness so, in 2017, I attended the Christian Coach Institute and earned my credentials as a Certified Professional Life Coach. Two years ago, I became a fully Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and I recently earned my credentials to become a Certified Nutrition Coach as well. I advocate for a holistic view of wellness that takes into consideration each individual’s physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and occupational health and well-being. I believe that each of us are created with purpose in the image of God and uniquely gifted with talents and bodies that can serve Him and bring hope to world around us.  I am deeply grateful to play a role in helping individuals move forward in their pursuit of God’s best for their lives.
