My Approach

Utilizing an integrative approach that uses different therapeutic techniques best suited for the client in their specific situation, their goals, and their expectations. In addition to the therapeutic techniques, I also bring a Biblical and Christ-centered approach to those who express the desire. My aim is to create a safe, nonjudgemental and comfortable environment that allows for healing and growth. Each person is resilient, holding the skills they need to overcome life’s challenges. My desire is to help find and harness those skills. 

 

My Story

I have grown up in Oklahoma and have lived in the Oklahoma City area since graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) in 2017. There I received my bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Christian Ministry. While at OBU, I gained experience in working with children as a camp counselor at a Christian summer camp, and I later co-led a youth group. I also had the opportunity to work among the homeless population, finding various ways to show compassion and the love of Christ through meeting needs, both physically and spiritually. I am currently enrolled at Liberty University, finishing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. God has blessed me and my wife with a son who is 1 year old, and we are expecting a daughter in May. We enjoy going to parks and spending time outside.
